Arbor Day Celebration 2013

Trees Winnipeg (Coalition to Save the Elms) is pleased to invite you to our annual Arbor Day, “All Trees Tell a Story” celebration on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at the Children’s Nature Playground at Assiniboine Park at 10:00-3:30 pm. rain or shine.

We invite you and your family to spend the day with Winnipeg’s most professional arborists. Ever wonder how arborists get up into the trees to provide the care that is needed? Want to expand your knowledge about caring for trees? Our line-up of rides, story-telling, crafts, and educational workshops are sure to entertain the entire family! Our tree climbing activities are sure to thrill both kids and adults and are said to be one of Winnipeg’s best kept secrets.

Prefer to keep your feet on the ground? We’ll have children’s crafts and story telling tents going all day long. Stop by our “Ask an Arborist” booth and get answers to all your tree-related questions from some of Winnipeg’s top tree-care professionals.
